Fortunately, after a few double scotches, we had gone to the Museum of Neon Art and then on their Neon Cruise (Downtown L.A., Hollywood, Chinatown, etc.), so the lights and colors were already swirling.

It was a unique hotel. Notice in the prior photo that the bed's on a platform, and the bathroom had glass walls (with curtains of course ;-)
